Scope and function:

• The Brain and Psychological Sciences Research Centre (BPSyC) at Swinburne University brings together different disciplines with common interests in biopsychosocial factors associated with the healthy and dysfunctional human mind and brain. This is a brand new facility that has received considerable investment from the university, Victorian State Government and Commonwealth funding. 

• Our state of the art neuroimaging facility includes magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), Magnetoencephalography (MEG), electroencephalography (EEG), trans-cranial magnetic simulation (TMS), a radiofrequency (RF) laboratory, and a computation neuroscience laboratory. Researchers at the university will be conducting research in the study of cognition, cognitive development and decision-making, and brain functions, connectivity, and mechanisms in healthy and disordered brains. The Neuroimaging Facility will be opening in November, 2011.
